Des Moines River Walk Amphitheater

Des Moines has been renovating its river walk with the help of Principle Financial and other corporate donors. While it still has a ways to go, many of the sites and scenes are already finished. The amphitheater just outside of the Embassy Suites hotel has a great view of downtown.
Across the river you can see the new "Hall of Laureates" building that used to be the Des Moines Public Library. They did an awesome job on the renovation both inside and out. The Hall of Laureates is now home to the World Food Prize organization among other things.
This image was shot with a Canon 7d, 15-85 lens on a tripod. It's a 7 image HDR.
